We met at a wine bar that neither of us liked, on a Thursday that neither of us had planned. Lily was there for a colleague's leaving drinks; Daniel had walked in because it was raining and he'd forgotten an umbrella again.
He asked if the seat was taken. It was — her coat was on it — and she moved it anyway. Three hours and one shared plate of very average olives later, the rain had stopped and neither of us had noticed.
Five years, one shoebox of prints and a lot of blurry frames. These are the ones that made the cut.
Thai food, a walk that went on too long, and a bus we let go past on purpose.

Garden formal. It's grass and a barn floor, so think linen and shoes you can dance in. Colour is very welcome.
Behind the barn — follow the string lights. A shuttle also runs from the Hudson Inn from 3 PM.
Yes. There's a lawn, a babysitter from 7 PM, and a very patient dog.
Your being there is honestly enough. If you insist, we're saving for a slightly bigger kitchen.
The barn is dry, the porch is deep, and we own a lot of umbrellas now.
Please do. There'll be a disposable camera on every table — the blurrier the better.
